CHAMPIONS CUP RECAP

Isaac Robinson and Kristin Tattar laid down solid scores all weekend as they led their divisions for the tournament. Isaac finished with a five-stroke lead over second place while Kristin was able to extend her lead to fourteen strokes before the tournament ended.

This was the first Major win in Isaac’s career, adding to his one DGPT win at Idlewild in 2022. This was Kristin’s third of her career after winning PDGA Worlds in 2022 and USWDGC in 2019.

STAT OF THE DAY

CIRCLE’S EDGE

  • The European Pro Tour is set to kick off in ten days with the Copenhagen Open in Denmark on May 5th. This will be the first of seven EPT events for the 2023 season.

  • The DGPT announced a new sponsor and venue plan for the Portland Open on June 1st-4th. Latitude64 signed a two-year contract to sponsor the tournament. The tournament is now set to be held exclusively at Glendoveer Golf & Tennis on two elite-level courses (East and West).

  • The Portland Open will also be the first of two Elite+ tournaments in 2023, Ledgestone in August being the second. Elite+ basically means more DGPT points awarded and higher purses.
