DISC GOLF BACK ON ESPN
ESPN 2 is set to air a one-hour segment featuring the story of the 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship on Sunday, February 5th at 8:00 pm EST.
The broadcast will show a re-cut of the final episode of the Disc Golf Networks docuseries, “On Tour”. Also included are some recaps of the U.S. Disc Golf Championship. The Disc Golf Network and Bluefoot Entertainment are the producers behind the broadcast.
The partnership between the DGPT and ESPN has been ongoing since 2020. Their first collaboration was for the 2020 Disc Golf Pro Tour and has since had three more broadcasts together.
While the DGPT’s primary focus is on the content produced for DGN, contract negotiations are underway regarding the 2023 season.
“We’re hopeful to deliver live coverage to ESPN in the future, which is in consideration amidst our 2023 contract negotiations”
