DGPT ALL IN ON POST-PRODUCTION
The DGPT announced its 2023 Post-Production Media Plan. While some details of the plan are a continuation of contracts signed last year, there will be some fresh new coverage coming in 2023 ensuring fans will get their fill of disc golf content.
JomezPro will be covering the MPO and FPO lead cards for the 2023 season.
Gatekeeper Media will continue to cover MPO chase cards for the 2023 season.
Ace Run Pro is officially joining the team, covering FPO chase cards at Elite Series and Majors in 2023.
Central Coast Disc Golf will cover MPO and FPO lead cards at DGPT Silver Series events.
GK Pro will focus on the Tour Series Skins in 2023. These are set to become a spectator events, taking place the day before each Elite Series event starts. Tickets to Tour Series Skins matches will include access to special autograph signings from Tour Card players.
All post-production coverage will be made available the day after each event on the respective YouTube channels.
Jomez’s coverage of the MPO lead cards is a continuation of the $500k contract it signed with the DGPT last year. That contract guaranteed them the rights to cover MPO lead cards for all DGPT Elite Series events for 2022 and 2023 and additionally provide coverage for the PDGA Pro World Championship, the U.S. Women’s DGC, and the Champions Cup.
Post-production coverage of the European Open and the U.S. Disc Golf Championship will only be available on the Disc Golf Network.
No post-production contracts have been signed past the 2023 season.
TOURNAMENT RECAP
College Disc Golf hosted the North Florida Collegiate Classic this past weekend for Teams and Singles at the New World Disc Golf Courses.
Teams Competition
Team UGA-A (Georgia Bulldogs) took down the rest of the field to secure their first win of the season. KSU-A and Alabama took second and third places. See full results here.

Singles Competition
Alabama freshman Jacob Leigeber #140638, placed 1st with a score of -11 and a round rating of 1013 to win by 2 strokes. Mitchel Phillips (KSU-A) and Sean Henry (UCF - Gold) finished second and third.

D. The score for a player on a hole is the total number of throws, including penalty throws. The total score for the round is the sum of all hole scores, plus any additional penalty throws. The use of anything other than a number as a score (including the lack of a score) is subject to penalty as described in 808.G.2.
