ZOO TOWN OPEN RECAP
Kristin Tattar secured another victory this past weekend in Montana after three rounds of play. Kristin has now won five of the last six PDGA and DGPT events she’s competed in.
Athletes in the MPO division were not fortunate enough to get three rounds in. They could only complete two rounds of play before the DGPT suspended the tournament due to weather concerns.

Some MPO players were already out on the course but after delays and prospective weather forecasts, it was unlikely all players would be able to reach 13 holes played, the minimum needed to officially record a round. This led the DGPT to cancel the third round of the tournament meaning the scores after round two would be the official final scores.
The unexpected ending gave Evan Scott his second podium and his first win at a DGPT event. Evan was tied for first place after round one and extended his lead to four during the second and final round of the event.

Paul Mcbeth won the first Euro Tour event of the year, Pro Forester. This was his second tournament since departing from the U.S. in May. Paul’s first tournament in Europe this year didn’t go as well as the second. He placed 31st in the Estonian Open, the third tournament of the European Pro Tour.
Winning at Pro Forester was Paul’s second A-tier win this year. So far, the 2023 season has not gone to plan as he has yet to place within the top five this year on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. In addition to that, out of the six DGPT Elite and PDGA Major events he’s competed in, he only has placed in the top 10 twice.
Paul has five more Euro Tour events lined up before the PDGA Major European Open in July. After that, he’ll make his way back to the States to continue on the Disc Golf Pro Tour to wrap up his year.
He nearly aced hole four during the Pro Forester tournament this past weekend but nonetheless still walked away the champion with $1,749 in prize money.
