2024 PDGA Majors announced

On Wednesday, the PDGA announced locations for the 2024 PDGA Majors.
A highlight of the announcement is the World Championship being held in Virginia for the first time. A feature course of the event will be the New London Tech DGC, designed by the reigning world champ, Paul McBeth.
There was talk of the World Championship making its first debut in Europe in 2024, but Christmas did not come early for those in Europe. At the earliest, they will have to wait until 2025 to host the World Championship on their home turf.
Below are the awarded locations for the Majors and the proposed feature courses.
PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships - Lynchburg, Virginia
New London Tech Disc Golf Course and Ivy Hill Disc Golf Club
PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Earl Brewer Park, Fallasburg Park, GR Rotary North DGC, and Johnson Park
PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships - Emporia, Kansas
Emporia Country Club, Jones Park, and Peter Pan Park
PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships - Tulsa, Oklahoma
McClure Park, O'Brien Park, Twin Bridges, Blackhawk DGC, Hunter Park, Haikey Creek Park, Chandler Park (both Moose and Bear courses), and a new facility at Post Oak Lodge
PDGA United States Women's Disc Golf Championship - Round Rock, Texas
Old Settlers Park, a new course at Mint Discs Headquarters, and five other courses
PDGA Tim Selinske United States Masters Championship - Raleigh, North Carolina
Western Car (Diavolo) DGC and Eagles Talon DGC
PDGA Champions Cup - Appling, Georgia

CIRCLE'S EDGE
Team Lonestar continues to add more members to their 2023 team. Emerson Kieth just signed a one-year contract with the team for the 2023 season.
Discraft is releasing 6x commemorative discs for your Paul McBeth collection. They are set to be released in early 2023.
Paul McBeth will be doing a tour de Europe in 2023. He is already registered for two Euro Tour events and is expected to make an appearance at seven in total.
Stacie Rawnsley is hanging up her wing for 2023. She announced she will be moving on from Team Innova. No news yet on where she is headed.
Deann Carey will not be representing Team Innova in 2023 after four years with the team.
Sweden's Ale Disc Golf Center closed in 2021, but now with new owners is set to reopen in 2023. The course at the center are Swedish favorites and ranked 7th in the 2020 list of the World's Best Disc Golf Courses.
